The red shape in the painting is the map of Mereyon Islands, which I cannot forget about.

I painted the whole atoll of Mereyon in “Memories of Atoll (Ⅰ)”.

In this work, I expressed soldiers seeing the monster (the war) off.

They are the last three soldiers who survived in my platoon, one of whom is myself.
