This work was not in the art book, because artist’s wife Kiyoko opposed to contain it in his book for its extremely tragic theme.

Because I had introduced this work to the media several times after the publication of the art book, I decided to place it in this web-museum.

 

This is what I heard from my father:

The several survivors including my father went to find foods, leaving one who was too weak to walk because of hunger.

This was the scene they saw when they came back.

Before they went out, he was breathing for sure, and there were no ants.
